Either plain card or encapsulated Sign Holders Our A4 Sign Holders take laminated/ encapsulated signs and come complete with black ‘Correx-type’ board, 2 angled feet and a number clip (small or large). Choose the number clip to use with the correct number set! Small clips are required for the ‘economy’ numbers and large clips for the ‘de luxe’ numbers. Our standard sign holders are GREEN but other colours are available by special order ( email us for details) - they just take longer to arrive! Also available are A5 sign holders but again these are not our standard stock - email us for details. A Judges Set , mainly for judges and venue organisers: a set of three sign holders, one each in Yellow, Orange and Blue which take A4 laminated/encapsulated signs, come complete with black ‘Correx-type’ board and 2 angled feet but no number clip. These are for the START, FINISH and BONUS signs in order to make them easily identifiable. Hurdles The KC Rally Regulations 2024 (16.h.) states ..."All jumps must be constructed in a manner that provides stability and safety for all dogs. Pole width is to be between 1 metre and 1.5 metres. It must be a single bar jump which is able to fall in either direction. The jump must not have wings..... and Jump Heights – Shoulder Height under 30 cm - jump 10 cm; 30 cm to 40 cm - jump 20 cm; 40 cm to 50 cm - jump 30 cm; 50 cm and over - jump 40 cm We supply two types of hurdle sets, both comprise two cones (one type with circular base, the other with square base); 2 height adjusting ‘ladders’; and a 1 or 1.2 metre pole/bar. The 'ladders' clip onto the cones. The height of the bar at the first 'slot' on the ladder 10cm; the third slot for 20cm; the fifth slot for 30cm and the seventh slot for 40cm. The circular base cone colour may vary from the photograph (they come in eitehr green or yellow). The square base cones and the poles are yellow. Station Number Sets We stock two types of Station Numbers - “De luxe” and “Economy”. Both types are designed for good visibility with bold black numbers (and letter A or B) on a vivid yellow background. Sets are numbered 1 to 20 plus three letter A and three letter B cards. The “De luxe” sets are solid plastic and approximately the same size as a credit card, designed to have a long life.(These numbers need the ‘large’ number clip as they are thicker than the ‘economy’ version). The “Economy” sets are printed on card and encapsulated (laminated) so obviously they are not expected to last as long as the plastic version. (These numbers need the ‘small’ number clip) Clips and Angled Feet As mentioned above, we supply two sizes of number clips to match our popular number sets. Although the ‘small’ number clips looks physically larger than the ‘large’ version, it is the ‘capcity’ of the slot that defines whether it is ‘small’ or ‘large’. Sign holders are supplied with a number clips of the appropriate ‘size’, and two angled feet, but replacements are available in any quantity that may be requried. We also supply ‘Connector’ (or joining) clips which are designed to allow two or more signs to be physically linked together, either side by side or one above the other. Feet are only supplied in pairs. Although not shown here, spare ‘Correx- type’ boards are available no minimum quantity for orders. Send Around Set We stock two types of send-around sets. Both come with a 50cm yellow pole. Either a plastic base (which can be filled with water or sand or whatever takes your fancy!) in yellow or alternatively a heavy rubber base . Ideal for Bonus Exercise number 15 Cones The KC Rally Regulations 2024 (16.g.) state..."Cones for obstacle exercises, markers for Serpentine, Figure of Eight and Spirals. Base of markers not to exceed 200mm diameter” Our yellow lightweight cones are 175mm diameter and 180mm high (that’s 7 inches in old money!). Only supplied in sets of 4. The base of the cones have a hole at each corner to allow for pegging down in windy conditions.
